Now you can play Pac-Man, Space invaders via Facebook Messenger

Like.

17 games have been added to the Facebook Messenger app on your mobile, including Space Invaders, Galaga, Pac-Man and Zoo Keeper.

The collection is rolling out now via an app update in 30 countries. It's already online in the US, although we don't seem to have it in the UK quite yet.

Facebook's tech uses HTML5 to replicate shrunken versions of arcade and mobile hits. Here's the full list:

  • Pac-Man (Bandai Namco)
  • Galaga (Bandai Namco)
  • Arkanoid (Taito)
  • Space Invaders (Taito)
  • Track & Field 100M (Konami)
  • Words with Friends: Frenzy (Zynga)
  • Shuffle Cats Mini (King)
  • EverWing (Blackstorm)
  • Hex (FRVR)
  • Endless Lake (Spilgames)
  • Templar 2048 (Vonvon)
  • The Tribez: Puzzle Rush (Game Insight)
  • 2020 Connect (Softgames)
  • Puzzle Bobble (Taito / Blackstorm)
  • Zookeeper (Kiteretsu)
  • Brick Pop (Gamee)
  • Wordalot Express (MAG Interactive)

The idea is that you'll play the games within Messenger and be able to easily challenge Facebook friends to beat your score, or chat about playing, and spend more time in the overall Facebook ecosystem.
