Mizuguchi drops Rez sequel hint

Sounds up for it.

Tetsuya Mizuguchi has once again hinted at the possibility of a sequel to his cult Dreamcast and PS2 classic Rez.

"Stay tuned!" he said, when the subject came up during a recent 1UP interview.

It's not the first time Mizuguchi - former SEGA developer and current chief creative officer at Q Entertainment - has dropped hints about a Rez follow-up.

He's been discussing the game in current terms in interviews for some time, talking about the effect it's had on his ability to acquire music for titles like Lumines.

Speaking to us at E3, he gave his firmest indication yet. "I'm currently seriously considering it," he said of the possibility of a sequel. "It's always there. I'm always thinking about it. [Grinning] Also Space Channel 5."
