Secret Downloads Over Normandy Part 4!

I coulda SWON we already had one of these recently...

LucasArts has released another bounteous package of downloadable content via Xbox Live, adding another new plane, another new mission and two new camouflage schemes to an already bulging game. This is actually the fourth batch of items released for the game - which still kept Kristan going for days before he even got round to the added extras.

The new plane in this case is the rocket-powered He162 "Volksjager" ("People's Fighter" that is), and the new mission is actually a new two-player engagement called "Furious Engel". The two camo schemes, meanwhile, are for the P-51 and B-17.

Earlier this month, LucasArts released package #3, containing a similar bounty, and dragging the list of downloadable extras even further down the page. Already Xbox Live equipped owners of the game can get their paws on the Italian Macchi 202, the Japanese Ki-61 Tony fighter plane, the Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk Mk.II and the Vought F4U-1A Corsair, a couple of single-player missions and retouched camouflage for the Ju-87 Stuka, the Lockheed P-38 Lightning and the G4M1 Betty bomber.

We'd suggest you read our review here of Secret Weapons Over Normandy if you haven't already, because if you have even the slightest compulsion for this sort of game then you definitely need to play SWON, whether it's on Xbox (probably optimal, despite the lack of actual online play), PS2, Cube or PC.
