FFX-2 due early next year

From Electronic Arts, interestingly.

Final Fantasy X-2 is due out in Europe (and all PAL territories) in early 2004, and will be published by Electronic Arts, after the EA Partners division of the world's biggest publisher swooped in and flashed its cash for Square Enix.

Already a bagillion seller in the land of the rising sun since it's release there in March, FFX-2 is a continuation of the epic quest undertaken by Tidus and pals in Final Fantasy X, itself a blehsquillion seller all over the world, marking the first time the RPG developer has produced a direct sequel to an FF title.
