Fire Warrior slips (and doesn't)

Extra time "critical" except for Europeans?

As we mentioned briefly yesterday, the PC version of Kuju's Warhammer 40,000 title Fire Warrior has been delayed until publisher THQ's third fiscal quarter (October to December) rather than its original September target.

However, although the PS2 version has also slipped in the US, its counterpart here in Europe is still due out in September, despite THQ's Brian Farrell telling American journos that "we believe the extra time is critical to ensuring the best possible product quality."

The PS2 version of Fire Warrior has already shipped to PS2 Online beta testers, and it has received a mixed reaction from the people we know who've played it.
