Rez creator to unveil new game at TGS

Tetsuya Mizuguchi prepares to unveil his first new title since leaving SEGA last year.

Rez and Space Channel 5 creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi plans to unveil his first project since leaving SEGA at next week's Tokyo Game Show, according to an update on the developer's blog.

"The Tokyo Game Show is coming up next weekend, meaning that we're closing in on our unveiling," he wrote. "We're planning to exhibit a new title there. I'll try and be around the TGS hall as much as I can. I should be right beside my game, so please don't hesitate to talk to me if you see me there. And of course, please tell me what you think about the game."

Mizuguchi, who established the Q Entertainment development house in March, has kept quiet about his plans ever since he left SEGA in 2003. The developer has amassed a cult following over the years thanks to a number of his SEGA titles, which delighted critics despite relatively poor sales.
