Knights of the Gold Republic

Should see it around these parts... soonish?

LucasArts sends word that the Xbox version of BioWare's eagerly awaited Star Wars RPG, Knights of the Old Republic, has finally gone gold. This means that the game will be available in US and Canadian stores come 16th July. No clear news yet on when we can expect to see the game arrive over this way, but this suggests that we'll see it a lot sooner than the previously anticipated September. LucasArts also took the opportunity to mention that it plans to make downloadable content for KotOR available over Xbox Live this winter, which should include new weapons and items to assist players in the game.
