NFSU PC patched

Need for Sufficient Upgrades?

Although EA has apparently released several auto-update tweaks for the PC version of its chart-topping street racer, fans of Need for Speed Underground can now choose to download and keep track of their patch files.

Released this week, the first NFSU update brings the US and European editions of the game to version 4.0. Details on the changes are conspicuously absent (EA isn't a fan of clarity, it seems), but a little bird told us "This patch will correct the black screen NOS effect with certain video settings."

Aim your grubby mitts in this direction if you're after the 4.2MB patch.
