D3 signs 100 Bullets licence

First comic title due in 2007.

Warner Bros. Interactive has done a deal with D3Publisher that allows the latter to develop and publish games based on DC Comics/Vertigo's 100 Bullets comic.

Under the terms of the deal, D3 can produce games for consoles, handhelds and PC - and says it plans to release the first one in Q3 2007.

100 Bullets is a noir series that mixes crime and espionage through interrelated tales of people given the chance to exact revenge on people who've caused them hassle in the past.

It's not the first time sometimes licensed it, mind - back in 2003 DC Comics did a deal with Acclaim to produce games based on 100 Bullets, but following the publisher's collapse the game went into limbo and disappeared.
