Sly Raccoon on PSP?

Developer Sucker Punch says it would bring the thieving raccoon to Sony's new handheld if given the opportunity.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves - due out on PS2 in Europe this October - may be the company's focus right now, but in an interview to be published on Eurogamer later today Sucker Punch's co-founder and producer Brian Fleming admitted, "We'd like to see Sly on the PSP."

Unfortunately for fans of the platform series though, he then added: "But, being a smaller team, we really don't have the people to do the work." There's a will, then, but for one reason or other there's no way just now.

Nevertheless, Fleming seemed keen not to rule out the idea completely. "Who knows," he said, "maybe the right combination will come together sometime though. I do think Sly would make a fantastic PSP title, if we can get to it!"
