New Kojima Productions game teased

Emails and Famitsu ad trail revelations.

Kojima Productions' latest project could be announced within the next week or so, judging by mysterious emails sent to US journalists and what's reportedly a double-page teaser from the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu.

According to IGN/1UP, emails arrived yesterday with the subject line "T -3 days" and a link to http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/next/, which currently 404s.

Then a poster on NeoGAF introduced a double-page advert bearing the same URL and the legend "2009. 5. 18" overlaid on a picture of a grassy wasteland under storm clouds. Apparently the tease appears in the latest Famitsu.

Kojima Productions king Hideo Kojima has previously said that we would see an "official game announcement" at E3, which runs from 2nd to 4th June.
