New Kirby game for Nintendo 3DS announced

Nintendo has announced a new Kirby game for release on the 3DS.

Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata announced the game during today's Nintendo Direct with a short gameplay trailer, showing typically cutesy side-scrolling platformer action.

That's all we have for now. The game is due out at some point in 2014.
