Netflix's next batch of Castlevania episodes arrive in time for Halloween

A+ announcement.

It's currently 30C outside and football's coming home, but we're looking to the future - the cooler, darker evenings of autumn - and Halloween.

Because it's around Halloween, appropriately, Netflix will release its second batch of Castlevania episodes. This next batch will arrive on 26th October, the streaming service announced today.

The brainchild of cult film maker Adi Shankar, Castlevania's animated incarnation debuted on Netflix last year via four blood-stained episodes to a positive reception. Season two will contain a further eight story chunks.

Castlevania stars The Hobbit's Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, while Battlestar Galactica's James Callis plays Alucard. Fellow Hobbit cast member Graham McTavish takes on the role of Dracula, while Supernatural's Emily Swallow voices Dracula's wife Lisa.
