Mommy's Best Games brings XBLIG hits to Steam
Weapon of Choice! Explosionade! Shoot 1UP! Game Type!
Nathan Fouts' one man studio Mommy's Best Games made quite a name for itself a few years back by bringing uncharacteristically high quality games to XBLIG. Such titles included: Weapon of Choice, Explosionade, Shoot 1UP and Game Type.
As of today, Fouts has released those four aforementioned titles on Steam under the Mommy's Best Action Pack, priced at £5.59 / €7.99 / $7.99.
You can also buy each title separately for £1.99 / €2.99 / $2.99, except for Weapon of Choice, which is £3.99 / €4.99 / $4.99.
For those who missed out on Mommy's Best Games' heyday, here's the rundown:
Weapon of Choice is a side-scrolling platformer/shooter very much in the vein of Contra; Shoot 1UP is a Treasure-like shmup where you control multiple ships simultaneously; Explosionade is more along the lines of Super Crate Box meets Serious Sam; and Game Type was a satirical title mocking the Xbox 360's ridiculous dashboard redesign making it bewilderingly difficult to find self-published XBLIG games.
