Midway birthing five for iPhone

TouchMaster converts due this month.

Midway has decided to convert five games from the TouchMaster series for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Spellwinder, Dice King, Prismatix, Combo 11 and Carpet will be added to the App Store by the end of the month. Each can be picked up for GBP 0.59 / EUR 0.79, or as part of a bundle for GBP 2.39 / EUR 2.99.

Spellwinder is a quirky word-search, Dice King is about swapping dice around to match number combinations, and Prismatix is something to do with gem sequences on a hexagonal grid.

Combo 11 is a card game where sets of 11 (excluding face cards) need to be found and picked out and, finally, Carpet is a different take on Solitaire.

We found the whole lot quite boring on TouchMaster DS, and there were plenty more to pick from. Ultimately naff, but a pointless distraction nonetheless.

Head over to our TouchMaster DS review for an idea of what to expect.
