MGS Peace Walker delayed 3 weeks

US getting PSP-3000 bundle.

Konami has moved the UK and European release date for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker back to 18th June.

The PSP entry in the legendary stealth series had been due to release here on 28th May.

The release date is now 8th June in North America, where Snake fans will be able to pick up the game in a bundle with a PSP-3000 in Spirited Green, the game on UMD, a PSN movie voucher and a 2GB Memory Stick for $199.99, says VG247. No word on a European equivalent yet.

The shift in release date mirrors the more serious delay in Japan, where Peace Walker had been due to appear on 18th March but was pushed back to 29th April. At the time, Konami said the US and European launches wouldn't be affected.

Peace Walker, a direct sequel to the PS2's Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, takes place in 1974 and features co-op gameplay for the first time. Players will be able to enjoy local multiplayer with their PSPs or connect online through PS3s using the adhocParty mode.
