Microsoft has announced that Xbox 360 exclusive Forza Motorsport 3 will be released in Europe on 23rd October.

The platform holder yesterday announced the US release date as 27th October.

We've also been introduced to Swiss driver Natacha Gachnang, the new European "Face of Forza" - she's a 21-year-old Formula Two driver, cousin of F1's Sébastien Buemi, and consulted on the game's development.

Microsoft and developer Turn 10 are positioning Forza 3 as the ultimate driving simulator, but also want to make it as accessible as possible, with things like unlimited-use rewind to undo mistakes.

Check out our Forza Motorsport 3 hands-on preview from E3 to learn more about how that plays out.
