Firewatch is getting a retail release this year

Midlife crisis simulator Firewatch is getting a physical release on PS4 later this year.

This limited engagement will be produced by Limited Run Games, the company behind the retail editions of Oddworld: New N' Tasty and Octodad: Dadliest Catch.

Campo Santo co-founder Sean Vanaman said the developer is planning to release "under 10k copies" in an email to Polygon.

In other Firewatch news, the game recently received a Free Roam mode along with PS4 Pro support. There's also a film adaptation in the works.
