Final Fantasy 10 HD and 10-2 HD support cross-saves

Plus, new 30 minute ending scene inbound.

Final Fantasy 10 HD and Final Fantasy 10-2 HD will support cross-saves, Square Enix has announced.

That means you'll be able to share saves across both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game, picking up on either version where you left off. On PS3 both games are bundled on the same Blu-ray disc. On Vita they are sold separately.

The news was confirmed by Final Fantasy director Yoshinori Kitase during a presentation at the Japan Expo in Paris, reported by RPGSite.

Meanwhile, Gematsu reports that Jump magazine has revealed that the HD remakes will include a new 30 minute ending scene penned by Kazushige Nojima. Nojima is a veteran Final Fantasy writer who has worked on Final Fantasy 7, 8, 10, 10-2, Crisis Core and many more.
