Family Ski gets snowboard sequel

Arrives here sometime next year.

Namco Bandai has unveiled a sequel to Wii balance board game Family Ski.

We Ski and Snowboard will arrive sometime next year, and unsurprisingly branches into the cooler side of piste activities.

To make this work, the balance board is rotated sideways to imitate a snowboard, with the Wiimote and nunchuk waved about to do tricks, according to GameSpot.

The visual style of Family Ski looks set to resurface in the sequel, as does support for Mii avatars.

Family Ski launched in Europe over the summer, and managed to entertain Ellie for a bit before she started telling rude jokes. One to fetch at bargain price, she said.

If, for some reason, you cannot wait until the sequel, then there's always Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip on Wii, which sounds more or less identical and is due out this winter.
