FarmVille mastermind Zynga has revealed the next step in its quest for total global domination: GagaVille.
As detailed on VentureBeat, the tie-in will see a Lady Gaga-themed farm arrive in its phenomenally successful Facebook app from 17th May.
Gaga's farm will apparently showcase themes from her music – which means crystals, unicorns and motorbike-riding sheep.
Users will also get early access to tracks from the Poker Face performer, with new tunes from her impending Born This Way album unlocking between 17th and 19th May.
And the bad romance doesn't stop there – in the US you'll also be able to get $25 Zynga Game Cards that include a free download of the album and exclusive bonus tracks.
Zynga's Words with Friends is going Gaga too, with players entered into a draw to win concert tickets if they use the special Gaga-themed word of the day.
Finally, virtual Gaga-inspired items are up for grabs in other Zynga titles: CityVille, FrontierVille, Mafia Wars, Zynga Poker, Café World, Treasure Isle, YoVille, PetVille and Vampire Wars.
"I want to celebrate and share 'Born This Way' with my little monsters in a special way that's never been done before," explained the singer.
"Zynga has created a magical place in FarmVille where my fans can come play, and be the first to listen to the album."
"We're focused on creating cool new ways to entertain and surprise our players," added Zynga VP Owen Van Nattas.
"Our partnership with Lady Gaga offers many new experiences: Exclusive access to music in-game, a mobile contest, a free album bundled with Zynga game card purchases and limited edition virtual items across ten Zynga games. We want to thank Lady Gaga for working with us on this truly great surprise."
Interesting. Could record labels mourning the death of Guitar Hero have found a new way to foist their acts on the game-playing public? Here's hoping that road leads to MotörheadVille.
