Warriors, Ion Assault on XBLA on Weds

Alongside Zombie Apocalypse.

Microsoft has announced another two games to join Zombie Apocalypse on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow.

They are Ion Assault, a mash-up of Geometry Wars and Super Stardust HD but with co-op and a campaign of sorts, and The Warriors: Street Brawl.

The latter, based on the cult 1979 film, takes a side-scrolling beat-'em-up approach, allowing four friends to play together either online or on the same machine. There's head-to-head multiplayer, too, to find out who the real Warchief is.

Do not confuse Street Brawl with 2005's The Warriors on PS2 and Xbox, although film fans may already be sated by the latter - Ellie certainly was.

You can find shots and descriptions of Ion Assault and The Warriors: Street Brawl on the official Xbox website.

Both games cost 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80/€9.60).
