VEVO music video app launches on Xbox 360

Music to our ears.

Streaming music video service VEVO is now available to download in app form on Xbox 360, Microsoft has announced.

The free download lets you watch over 45,000 music videos by 11,000 artists. Or just the same Skrillex track over and over. Wub.

You'll need to be a paid-up Xbox Live Gold member to use the app, which also lets you link your existing VEVO web account for easy playlist streaming.

VEVO is one of the new channels mentioned by Microsoft in its huge list of upcoming Xbox 360 apps last year. A number of these have trickled through to release, although others such as BBC iPlayer have yet to materialise.
