Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 revealed

Adds power-ups, projectiles and more.

The long-awaited Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 has just been revealed in the latest issue of GameInformer.

Developed by Robomodo, who previously made Tony Hawk: Ride and Tony Hawk: Shred, Pro Skater 5 is slated for release this year on PS4 and Xbox One with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to follow.

Little is known about this upcoming title, but it will feature solo, co-op and competitive modes with online play. You'll also be able to level up your character and seamlessly transition them between various game modes, offline and on.

There will also be new additions like power-ups and the ability to shoot projectiles during certain missions. We're not sure what these projectiles will be exactly. Paint balloons perhaps?

Pro skaters appearing in the upcoming game include: Nyjah Huston, Aaron Homoki, Ishod Wair, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Leticia Bufoni, and Andrew Reynolds.

Here's a couple of pics showing how the upcoming game will look. GameInformer's got the full gallery.
