The Walking Dead: Michonne gets a debut trailer
Three-part standalone spin-off due in February.
The Walking Dead: Michonne, Telltale's three-part miniseries set after The Walking Dead: Season Two - is slated for a February release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Xbox 360, PS3, Android and iOS devices.
Telltale teased the upcoming spin-off in the following trailer at The Game Awards earlier tonight:
Like Telltale's other The Walking Dead titles, Michonne is canon to the comic series. It follows the titular character, played by Samira Wiley (Poussey Washington from Orange is the New Black), as she braves the zombie apocalypse between comic issues #126-139.
Originally Michonne was going to be DLC for The Walking Dead: Season Two, but now Telltale is advertising it as a "standalone three episode event," suggesting that's no longer the case.
