The Escapists: The Walking Dead adds free survival mode

There's an all-new survival mode in The Escapists: The Walking Dead today.

PC and Xbox One editions of the game will receive the new mode for free, publisher Team 17 has announced.

Three survival maps will be featured in the update - Meriwether, Alexandria and Woodbury - which will be familiar to fans of both The Walking Dead's TV series and graphic novels.

Tyreese, Abraham and Michonne are playable in survival mode, assisted by fan-favourite characters Rick, Carl and Glenn.
