TGS: Clank gets own PSP game

Ratchet off being kidnapped.

Sony has lifted the lid on a new Secret Agent Clank game for PSP.

Confirmation came from the Tokyo Game Show, according to Shacknews, where onlookers saw a tuxedo clad Clank embark on a quest to rescue his kidnapped pal Ratchet.

High Impact Games, developer of previous PSP title Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, is rumoured to be behind the helm, with a tentative release release date of 2008 mentioned.

In terms of gameplay, those familiar with the series should feel right at home. There's plenty of over the top weaponry, as well as some new interactive cut scenes where you'll have to press buttons at the right times.

Sony Europe was unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
