Story of Seasons Divorce: How to get divorced in Pioneers of Olive Town

What to do when love turns stale.

If you're bored of your current husband or wife in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, then divorce is always an option.

Getting divorced is also a very simple process and, unlike reality, there are very little consequences to ending your marriage in Pioneers of Olive Town.

Once your marriage is over, you can start pursuing a new marriage candidate or simply settle back into the single life again.

How to get divorced in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town

Divorce in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is referred to as a 'relationship reset' and activating this function will not only end your marriage, but erase any children you might have from existence.

If you want to get divorced, then visit the shrine at the highest point in Olive Town, located behind the museum.

Once you're married, you'll notice that a new option, called 'Special Prayer' will have been added and selecting it will give you the option to 'Reset Family Status.'

The game will then ask you to confirm whether you want to be single again - just in case you change your mind - and, if you select 'Be Single Again,' the day will end, erasing your romantic relationship.

Since the day will automatically end, we suggest making sure you take care of any farm related business, such as watering crops, before resetting your family status.

Divorce consequences in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town explained

After resetting your family status (i.e. getting divorced) in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town you'll return to your farmhouse, with your spouse and any children you might have nowhere in sight.

Your house is empty once again.

While your former spouse will have returned to their home in Olive Town, your children will have vanished forever and you'll need to remarry if you want to have a child again.

The wedding outfits will also no longer be available from the Beauty Salon as you have magically wiped your marriage from existence.

Nothing else will have changed aside from this - your former spouse will still have a max, 10 hearts, friendship level and neither them or anyone else in Olive Town will comment on your divorce.

You're now free to pursue a romantic relationship with another marriage candidate or even marry the same character again!
