Shred Nebula for XBLA in September

Top-down shooter like SubSpace.

CrunchTime Games' Xbox Live Arcade shooter Shred Nebula will be released on 3rd September and cost 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60).

That's according to GameSpot, which provided a few other details on the top-down arcade blaster.

A bit like Asteroids, Shred Nebula only lets you shoot in the direction your ship is facing. There will be around 20 craft, including baddies, and these vary in speed, durability and special attacks.

Shred Nebula will have around 40 levels to soar through, plus multiplayer for up to four players and a couple of single-player game modes.

Microsoft is in the midst of a good run on Xbox Live Arcade at the moment thanks to Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and Braid, with Bionic Commando Rearmed, Galaga Legions and Castle Crashers to follow this month.
