Saint Seiya gets Euro PS3 release

Namco confirms Sanctuary Battle for 2012.

Anime action tie-in Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle is heading to Europe some time next year as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, publisher Namco Bandai has announced.

As demonstrated in the trailer below, it's a colourful button-masher that sees you protecting goddess Athena from the no-good gold saints of the 12 palaces.

There's a special mode included offering alternate stories delving deeper into the Saint Seiya universe, and you'll get the original Japanese voice track too.

It'll be the first Saint Seiya game to come to these shores since dodgy 2007 PlayStation 2 brawler Saint Seiya: The Hades.
