Raiden IV shoots for 360 in September

Arcade hit coming to console.

Developer Moss has decided to bring its arcade scrolling-shooter Raiden IV to Xbox 360.

It will be blasting into Japanese shops this September, according to the latest issue of Famitsu (read by Arcade Renaissance).

The console conversion will have added bells and whistles. There will be a couple of new stages plus Live support and the ability to share saved games with friends online, it sounds like.

It will also support monitors that can swivel into portrait positions.

Raiden IV is a vertical scrolling-shooter said to be a little more forgiving and boast a gentler learning curve than other arcade offerings in Japan.

We first heard about it on Xbox 360 as long ago as February last year, with publisher UFO Interactive spilling the beans and also suggesting it could head West at some point.
