R.U.S.E. given firm UK date

Goes all-in this September.

Ubisoft's given RTS game R.U.S.E. a 17th September release date. That's on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, according to the publisher's latest schedule.

The date arrives after Ubisoft's public beta test in April. The game was delayed in order to deal with "massive feedback" from fans, and the developer is considering a second beta before launch to test the new bout of changes.

R.U.S.E., inspired by tabletop strategists, allows you to deceive your opponent using ruses and perhaps an off-putting moustache. Should you succeed, the gates to conquest will lay wide open.

We've had a butcher's; our impressions of the beta tell all.
