Ubi delays R.U.S.E. until September

In response to "massive feedback".

Ubisoft has delayed the release of PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 strategy title R.U.S.E.

The launch date has already been pushed back once before, and now it's being changed as a result of feedback from the recent public beta.

"Following the massive feedback we got from the community during the public beta, we have decided to postpone the release of the final game to September 2010," reads a message on the R.U.S.E. Facebook page.

According to Ubi, the decision to delay release will result in a more polished game with an improved multiplayer experience. Features such as unit selection, order assignment, AI, pathfinding and the kick system are all being worked on, along with game balance.

"The project has been ambitious since the start. The VIP Beta and Public Beta proved to us that we were working in the right direction and bringing something genuinely new and refreshing to the RTS genre," says the Facebook message. "We want to keep that mindset and make sure that every single feature of the game is absolutely top-notch before shipping."
