Penny Arcade Episode 2 to be cheaper

Hothead takes fan feedback on board.

Hothead games has decided to make the second episode of Penny Arcade Adventures cheaper.

The game is finished, although without date, and will sell for 1200 Microsoft points (GBP 10.20 / EUR 14.40) on XBLA, and USD 14.95 (GBP 7.50) on PC.

That's a saving of 400 MS Points on Xbox 360, when compared with Episode One, and USD 5 on PC.

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode Two - to give it its ridiculously lengthy full name, once more delves into the twisted 1920s world, where heroes Gabe and Tycho are called upon to solve another mystery.

That means plenty more JRPG-meets-Western-adventure gameplay all wrapped up in a lovely comic-book sheen.

We found the first episode a little awkward, and quite hard to justify for the hefty price. Apparently fan feedback has weighed heavily on the second instalment, which, coupled with a lower asking price, could set this series back on track.
