All those who've set up a guild for impending BioWare MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic can now start picking their allies, the developer has announced.

As detailed on the game's official site, guild leaders and members with requisite permissions can now go ahead and choose up to three guilds as either allies or adversaries depending on their faction of affiliation.

Guilds that are marked as either allies or adversaries will then have a higher chance of being placed into the game together on the same server when the MMO eventually launches.

Guild leaders can now also start inviting friends to join their outfit via email.

Check out BioWare's Guilds FAQ for more on how all this works.
