No Man's Sky delayed, no longer releasing in June - reports

UPDATE: Now official, new August release date revealed.

UPDATE 28/05/2016 12.29am: No Man's Sky has just been officially delayed until 9th August, as can be seen on its new PlayStation listing.

ORIGINAL STORY 26/05/2016 11.18am: No Man's Sky's release has slipped again, according to a round of new reports.

As yet there's no official word of a delay from either Hello Games or publisher Sony, but Kotaku and TechRadar both say they've heard the game will no longer meet its 21st June date.

It doesn't sound like the game has suffered too much of a delay - there's talk of either July or August as a replacement date.

We should hear more soon, though - the delay appears to have already been communicated to retailers such as GAME.

We've asked Sony for comment.
