NCsoft Europe has announced that it hopes to top its pre-order campaigns for the likes of Guild Wars and City of Heroes by allowing those eager to play Auto Assault, its next big massively multiplayer effort, to elect a favourite in-game weapon to be included in the pre-order campaign for the UK, France, Germany and Italy.
This is on top of priority access to beta test events, a headstart on the final game, early account reservation and a "loot bonus" - all of which will be part of the fun for those who pre-order the game. Naturally the exclusive in-game weapon that tops the poll will be part of it too.
Auto Assault, as you may know, is a massively-multiplayer game that combines vehicular combat with role-playing elements. A novel idea, we'll sure you agree. You can check out some new screenshots here.
In order to vote for the weapon, players should click in the direction of this site and register on the official European message boards to cast their vote. Pre-orders are already available from various retailers and NCsoft has collated the details into pages for the UK, France, Germany and Italy. Spain, Scandinavia and Benelux are to follow.
