Ubi announces Uru expansion

The Path of the Shell concludes the story, and will be available on its own and as part of a "Complete Chronicles" set in late June.

Ubisoft has announced Uru: The Path of the Shell, an official expansion pack for Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, and released a pair of screenshots. The newly announced expansion should be available from June 30th onwards for around 20 quid - and as part of the Uru: Complete Chronicles set along with the original game and free expansion Uru: To D'ni, all for around £35.

According to Ubi, previous titles Ages Beyond Myst and To D'ni dealt with the past and present of the realm, whereas The Path of the Shell deals with the future of the D'ni, offering many challenging new puzzles, clothing options, player journals, technical tweaks (like swimming) and five new Relto customisation options.

Meanwhile, the official Myst Worlds website reports that while The Path of the Shell is the last of the Uru titles, the story may be continued "in a new and/or evolved form".
