Sony dobs in PS3 dealers

Only this time it has a point.

Sony has told on the people trying to sell its PlayStation 3 console to European consumers. Again.

This time however we can kind of see its point - as the "sellers" in question are the ones inviting people to dial a premium-rate telephone number to leave details and "probably" get an import unit in time for Christmas.

"SCEE has been made aware of this promotion, and we are investigating it further," a spokesperson for Sony told UK trade mag MCV. "We have forwarded the details onto Trading Standards, and urge all consumers to wait until the official European PS3 launch in March."

As do we, really. Although Ridge Racer 7 is pretty exciting (obviously).
