Burnout Legends PSP trailer

Excitable? Us?

EA has released a trailer showing off Burnout Legends on PSP, highlighting some of the game's most exciting characteristics: that it is stupidly fast, that it runs really well, and that it has ridiculously violent and detailed crashes in it.

Naturally there's slightly more to it than that, but these are the things you'll probably take away from it, and the thought of playing the game on actual PSPs in our hands fills us with the kind of excitement usually reserved for the ten minutes following our bi-annual consumption of full-fat Starbucks Caramel Frappucinos - a period of time usually spent jumping up and down, talking at high-speed about how brilliant life is in demented run-on sentences, and laughing so much and so hard that our exposed gums become sunburnt.

So we can say it looks quite good. We suggest you go and watch the sparks fly yourselves - and fly they do. The game is certainly very reminiscent of the PS2 and Xbox versions of Burnout 3: Takedown, though naturally there's a slight dip in detail levels.

The full game will feature redesigned versions of the best tracks and crash junctions, wireless multiplayer in various modes (including Crash), lots of unlockables (some only available by engaging in Wi-Fi challenges), as well as Game Sharing of certain levels and a refined Crash mode that does away with multipliers.

You'll be able to buy Burnout Legends in September.
