Bruckheimer's new game film

Jerry Bruckheimer, the man who brought us Top Gun, CSI and so much other stuff which makes us happy, has signed the rights to produce a new movie called Game Boys.

It will follow the adventures of two thirtysomething gamers who wind up getting recruited by the Department of Homeland Security. They're tasked with leading a whole army of gamers in a battle against monsters from a game they've clocked, who have now come to life.

The movie's being developed by Evan Katz, a writer-producer for 24, and Tom Ropelewski, who co-wrote and directed Look Who's Talking Now, you know, the one with the talking dog. There's no word as to when it will hit cinemas yet.
