GTA PSP named, dated

Sony Europe boss David Reeves has confirmed at a European press briefing here in Los Angeles that Grand Theft Auto PSP is in fact now known as Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and will be released in Europe soon after the PSP launch on 1st September.
There has been speculation in the past that the PSP Grand Theft Auto title could well simply be a remake of the original PlayStation 2 version, which was also set in Liberty City. Sony hasn't confirmed that, mind you, but the "Liberty City Stories" subtitle will keep the rumour mill turning in that direction.
It's highly likely that GTA PSP will be shown off at E3 behind closed doors, so we'll let you know if anything else emerges.
