MS goes accessory mad.

Microsoft has painted a clearer picture of its plans for the launch of Xbox 360 accessories in the run-up to Christmas.

Headlining will be the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player add-on, which will actually miss November and launch on 1st December, for GBP 129.99, bundled with a copy of King Kong on HD-DVD.

1st December will also see the release of the Wireless Racing Wheel, which will cost GBP 89.99 and come with a limited edition force feedback-enabled version of Project Gotham Racing 3 while stocks last.

In the meantime, 17th November sees the release of Halo and Viva Piñata faceplates to prettify your little 360, at a cost of GBP 14.99 per makeover, while the 24th sees the launch of the wireless headset (GBP 34.99).
