No PS2 Liberty City Stories for a while, says Rockstar

Probably after Table Tennis.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories won't be out on PlayStation 2 until at least the end of May, Rockstar reckons.

Speaking to Eurogamer today, a spokesperson said "it's looking like it'll be released after Table Tennis", Rockstar's first Xbox 360 title, which is due out on May 26th.

Rockstar hadn't previously specified a date for Liberty City Stories - a conversion of the successful PSP title of the same name - but sources in retail were expecting the game in late April.

Liberty City Stories takes players back to the city that played host to Grand Theft Auto III, and also adds multiplayer modes - although Rockstar's been coy about specifics on the PS2 version, other than to say that it'll probably retail for less than full-priced GTA games have in the past.

As soon as we have a concrete date, we'll let you know.
