Mother 3 in the West?

Not looking likely.

Nintendo's been quiet so far about the possibility of the third game in the Mother RPG series appearing in the West on GBA, but comments from one of Nintendo of America's localisation team suggest it's probably not worth holding our breath.

Speaking to Planet GameCube, localisation manager Nate Bihldorff says, "I'm not working on Mother 3. I don't have all the writers under me, so there may be other people in discussions going on with it, but I wouldn't look forward to it in the immediate future, no. Sorry, I know! There's a big Mother fanbase, there is."

All that leaves us with is dragging the Super Nintendo out of the cupboard and playing the second Mother game, Earthbound. And we don't like opening that cupboard, Nintendo. We like new games. Sort it out!
