Halo 2 Euro tournament

Win a camcorder, a Master Chief statue and the chance to take on the world in the Halo 2 Worldwide Finals in April.

Microsoft has announced the first European Halo 2 Championship on Xbox Live. To take part, all you have to do is sign up between now and 20th March on your regional Xbox.com website and then make it into the top tiers of the Rumble Pit leaderboard.

UK sign-ups are already being accepted here, and readers from the 13 other participating European countries (Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland) should check in with their regional Xbox.com website for details of how to enter.

On the UK front, the eight top-placed players on the Rumble Pit leaderboard on 20th March will be thrown into a battle for the title of UK Halo 2 Champion on Saturday 9th April. The winner of that will walk off with the title and a place in the Xbox Live Halo 2 Worldwide Finals, details of which will be announced in March, along with the 13 other European national champions.

The UK Halo 2 Champion can also expect to take home a Samsung digital camcorder worth more than £400, a special edition half-sized Master Chief statue worth around £350, and a Halo 2 Championship Plague and commemorative T-shirt.
