Boll won't direct MGS movie

Says Hideo Kojima himself.

Less than a week after the first Kojima Productions Report podcast hit the web, another instalment has appeared over on Hideo Kojima's blog.

Once again host Ryan Payton takes us through what the Metal Gear Solid creator's been up to lately and, perhaps most interestingly, reveals what he thinks about those rumours that Uwe Boll will direct big screen adaptation of MGS.

The rumours emerged last August after none other than Uwe Boll himself said he was up for directing the movie. But will he get his wish?

"Absolutely not! I don't know why Uwe Boll is even talking about this thing," Kojima says.

"We've never talked to him. It's impossible that we'd ever do a movie with him."

That's that then. But Boll's still got the forthcoming Dungeon Siege and Postal movies to be going on with - they should keep him busy for a while...
