Vampire Bloodlines delayed

Well that's a pain in the neck.

Apart from identifying a new release date for Half-Life 2, CNN/Money's Game Over column has also confirmed that Troika's Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, which so impressed at last August's Activision press event, has now been set back to spring 2005.

Troika co-founder Jason Anderson revealed that the developer wants to avoid crowding Half-Life 2, leaving the FPS with a clear run at the Christmas market, and that Troika also needs to incorporate Source Engine changes, which presumably shore it up against the hacking contingent currently pouring over Source in basements and Volcano-based secret lairs up and down the land.
