New PS3-compatible phone launched

Aino features virtual controller buttons.

Sony Ericsson has launched Aino, a new mobile phone which works with PlayStation 3.

As explained on the official website it's got Remote Play functionality, which means you can access photos, music and videos stored on your console's hard drive from anywhere there's an internet.

The Aino can also be used as a remote control. Thanks to the virtual PS3 controller buttons on the 3-inch TFT touch screen you can power up and power down your machine, access the XMB, browse your stored content, make use of PlayStation Network and buy stuff in the Store. Plus, if you've got the PlayTV digital video recorder, you can watch and record live television.

Other features of the Aino include GPS, an 8-megapixel camera and Facebook integration. But has it got Snake?
