Need for Speed MMO turns free

Racing MMO Need for Speed World has zoomed past the one million registered users mark.

And so happy does that make creator EA, that all charges for the game have been dropped. Specifically, the free client that allowed career progression up to level 10 but no further: that's been unlocked - you can play for as long as you like.

However, there are still micro-transaction items like double XP bonuses and power-ups available to buy.
